Register for the Fall 2010 Conference, hosted by the Anne Arundel branch on September 25, 2010, at Anne Arundel Community College. The subject of our conference encompasses the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Keynote Presentations by Linda Schevitz and Diana Bailey will look at elements of women’s accomplishments and promise in STEM. Luke Rhine will tell us about the Maryland State Department of Education Career and Technology Education Programs of Study. Claudia Morrell will address Micro Inequities: How we contribute to our country's failure in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and how we can fix it. Elizabeth Vandenburg will discuss the National Girls Collaborative Project and the Mid-Atlantic Girls Collaborative. Conference details are in the Marylander.

Membership If you hold an associate's or equivalent, bachelor's, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW. An undergraduate student enrolled in a regionally accredited educational institution is eligible for student affiliation. (cont.)
